Frequently Asked Questions

Are international flights included?

No. The package covers your trip from arrival in Beijing on 5 January 2027 to departure from Beijing on 13 January 2027. Book flights that land in Beijing on 5 January and leave on 13 January.

Which hotels will we stay in?

4 nights in Beijing at Beijing Marriott Hotel Northeast (the first 3 nights and the last night), and 4 nights in Harbin at Hilton Harbin Exhibition Center.

Which meals are included?

Breakfast every day at both hotels, a traditional Beijing roast duck dinner at a halal restaurant on your first evening, and a farewell dinner in Harbin. Other lunches and dinners are at your own expense, which leaves you free to choose where to eat.

How do we travel between Beijing and Harbin?

By high-speed train in both directions: Beijing to Harbin on day 4 and Harbin back to Beijing on day 8. The train tickets are included.

Will the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival be open on our dates?

Yes. Harbin Ice and Snow World usually runs from late December to February, so early January is peak season. Entry is included, and the ice castles are at their best after dark when they are lit up.

How cold will it be, and what should I pack?

Very cold. Harbin in January is often between -15°C and -30°C, and Beijing between about -10°C and 2°C. Pack thermal base layers, a heavy down jacket, insulated waterproof boots, thick gloves, a hat and a face cover. Cold drains phone batteries quickly, so bring a power bank.

Do I need a visa for China?

It depends on your passport. China has allowed Saudi citizens short visa-free stays under its visa-waiver programme. Check the rules in force for your travel date with the Chinese embassy before you book flights. Visa fees, if any, are not included.

Can children join this trip?

No. This trip is for adults only.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation is not available within 45 days of departure. For the 5 January 2027 departure, that means from 21 November 2026 onward.

How much does the package cost, and is there a single-room option?

From 8,885 SAR per adult sharing a room, and 11,502 SAR for a single room. It is a group trip for adults, with up to 20 travelers.

Is the Siberian Tiger Park included?

No. It is an optional visit on day 7 and is paid separately, along with any other activity not listed in the program.

Is travel insurance included?
